AF Coaching

AF or Alcohol-Free Coaching is for people who want to take a tactical break from alcohol.

It might be to help train consistently, prepare for a competition, lose weight for an event, to be on top of your game, or simply you’ve noticed you’re drinking more.

Whatever your reason, taking a break can be difficult and coaching can help you navigate that.

Most of us are “normal” or “middle-lane drinkers” – that is, sometimes we don’t drink much, sometimes we drink a lot. We might have a glass or two of wine each evening or we might only drink when we socialise. Sometimes we drink too much, too fast, too often. Other times, we don’t.

To achieve our goals, we need consistency and science tells us that alcohol interferes with that by affecting our body and our brain.

We’ve all felt less alive, less motivated and less in control after a drinking session and we vow to cut back. But because of alcohol’s nature, it’s very tempting to ‘just have one’ and we rarely stop at that.

Alcohol-Free Coaching can help you understand why it’s not easy to take a break, how to recognise triggers, and what practical steps can make a difference.

I’ve obtained my AF Specialisation from Andy Ramage, one of the world’s leading alcohol-free performance coaches, and Stephanie Chivers, a leading UK specialist in this area.

Alcohol-Free coaching starts with a quick, free introductory session to see if we are a good fit. Then comes the Kickstart Session (60 minutes: $120) – cheaper than a one big night out, right?

I also run small-group sessions for organisations to support employee well-being.
